Last updated: October 26, 2026. This policy explains how AmpliVolt Électrique handles information submitted through its website and service request forms.
Who is responsible?
AmpliVolt Électrique is responsible for the information collected to answer requests addressed to it. For a privacy question, complaint or request, contact management, attention Privacy Officer, at 514-594-2049.
You may call to obtain the contact details for sending a written request. Making a privacy request does not require you to request a quote or purchase a service.
Information you provide
The forms collect your name, contact details, city, requested service and the message you choose to send. They also record the form language, originating page and your consent choice so that we can understand and process your request.
Required fields are identified. Include only details relevant to your project. Do not put payment card numbers, identification documents, building access codes or other sensitive information in your message. If you provide someone else’s contact details, make sure you are authorized to do so.
How we use it
We use this information to answer you, clarify your project needs, check the service area and availability, prepare a possible quote and follow up on our exchanges. Necessary information may later become part of a customer file if you engage our services.
Submitting a form does not subscribe you to a newsletter. We do not sell your information or use submitted requests to create advertising profiles. The site does not make service decisions based exclusively on automated processing.
Your choice and consent
The form checkbox covers processing your request and related follow-up. You may choose not to submit the form and call instead. Without the necessary contact details, we may be unable to respond or continue with your request.
You may withdraw consent for uses that rely on it by contacting us. Withdrawal applies going forward and may limit the follow-up you requested. It does not remove legal retention obligations or processing permitted by law.
Hosting and access
The version of this website prepared for Netlify uses Netlify Forms to receive and store requests. Authorized AmpliVolt Électrique personnel handling requests and the providers needed for hosting and delivering communications may access information necessary for their duties.
These providers and their subprocessors may process or store information outside Québec, including in the United States. Information may then be subject to the laws of the relevant jurisdiction. Provider disclosures must be governed and limited to the service purposes. We may also disclose information when required or permitted by law.
Browsing, cookies and preferences
The site does not integrate advertising tools, tracking pixels or audience analytics. Your light or dark mode preference may be stored in your browser’s local storage. You can change it using the theme button or clear it through your browser settings.
Hosting infrastructure may process technical information such as your IP address, requested pages and browser information to deliver the website, keep it operating and prevent abuse. External websites linked from this site have their own practices.
Protection and retention
Access to requests must be limited to people who need it for their work. Safeguards are adapted to the sensitivity of the information and include protecting accounts and communications. No transmission or storage system is completely immune to an incident.
Information is kept for the time needed to handle the request, follow up on a file and meet applicable legal requirements. When it is no longer needed and no obligation requires its retention, it must be securely destroyed. You may ask for details about the period applicable to your file.
Your rights
Subject to the conditions and exceptions in applicable law, you may request access to your information, correction of it and, where the right applies, communication of certain computerized information in a structured, commonly used format. You may also raise a concern about collection, use or retention that you believe is unjustified.
Access and correction requests must be addressed in writing to the Privacy Officer. We may proportionately verify your identity before responding. The statutory response period for Québec businesses is generally 30 days after receiving a written request.
Questions and complaints
To ask a question or report a concern, call 514-594-2049 and ask for the Privacy Officer. Explain the situation without sending unnecessary sensitive information. You may also contact the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec to learn about available remedies.
Changes
This policy may be updated to reflect changes to the website or information handling. The date above identifies the latest revision. If a new use requires your consent, changing this page alone does not replace that consent.
